Overview
Zentangle Tree – Part 2
Activity Prep
To prepare for this lesson you will need to google “Zentangle patterns” or go to www.Zentanglepatterns.com. Both websites give you an overwhelming amount of patterns to choose from. Keep it simple. Look for the “beginners” patterns. Copy and print enough copies for your students to be inspired.
Tips for Teachers
If you are looking for a way to help your students with focus, Zentangle is the perfect tool. Zentangle is an American method for drawing, which not only promotes concentration and creativity but at the same time increases personal well-being. Zentangle can be done on any shape or form like a simple circle or square. The key is to divide the shape into sections and create a different pattern within those spaces. This is a perfect exercise to develop focus. Consider starting a Zentangle center. Learning to Zentangle is a lifelong skill.
